Meet Minnie
This portrait was all about capturing energy - not just how Minnie looks, but how she feels. Using bold pastel strokes and vibrant colour to bring movement, texture and personality into the portrait. Rather than smoothing things out, I let the marks stay expressive to reflect the spirit of our pets: lively, emotional and full of character. Creating pet portraits is my way of celebrating the unique presence and soul of each companion.
