This portrait reflects on the quiet strength and vulnerability that come with age. I have tried to emphasise the lines, the wrinkles and the contour of the face. I particularly wanted to create bright and reflective deep set eyes, conveying both depth and vulnerability. It’s a simple study of someone who has lived fully and continues to hold stories in their gaze and how time shapes us, gently and profoundly.
